kdeps-events-handshake-timeout

on:
  # --- All possible trigger fields (an event sets only the ones it uses) ---
  # tokens: <int> flat token-count threshold (session-wide measurement)
  # ctxWindowFraction: <float> fraction of the model's context window, e.g. 0.75 = 75% full
  # tokensSinceCheckpoint: <int> tokens accumulated since the last fold checkpoint
  # minTurns: <int> gate: never fire before this many turns exist (token events only)
  # rounds: <int> round/repeat-count threshold (stuck-loop/task/judge/handshake events)
  # bytes: <int> byte-length threshold (truncation-cluster events)
  # distinctCalls: <int> distinct-call-count threshold (web/bash/file/code call-budget events)

  # Tool-call rounds a session-handshake grounding challenge gets before it
  # gives up (see handshake.go).
  rounds: 2
# run: selects the action fired once the trigger above is met.
# Valid actions (assets/actions/*.yaml -- override at ~/.kdeps/actions/*.yaml):
# compact summarize older history into a checkpoint
# truncate shorten oversized content to a budget, marking what was cut
# reject refuse an operation that exceeds a size limit
# block refuse further distinct tool calls once a budget is spent
# drop_oldest drop the oldest entries from a growing collection
# cap bound a collection to a fixed count while building it
# force_answer end the tool loop and force a final text answer
# fail_task escalate and eventually close a stalled goal-directed task
# fail_handshake end a session-integrity handshake challenge as failed
# accept_last accept the last judge-panel response once the budget is spent
# NOTE: this event works by setting the handshake sub-loop's MaxToolRounds
# and relying on the loop's own generic round-exhaustion behavior, not a
# distinct dispatchable step -- see docs/v2/agent/events.md.
